Q. Who is AMPED for?
A. Ages 6 - 12 Boys & Girls
Q. What Kind of activities do you do?
A. Science experiments, Mountain Biking, Bush survival skills, Building, Electronics, Surfing, Cooking, Sailing, Nerf Wars, Rock climbing + more...
Q. Safety?
A. We have a safety briefing before any activity where a child might get hurt or is at risk. Safety equipment is provided & we ensure safety equipment is worn where necessary.
It is however an adventure programme and on the odd occasion a child does get hurt. We carry a basic medical kit with us at all times and will contact parents/cargivers if an accident happens.
Q. Are your leaders vetted?
A. All our leaders are police checked and follow a strict set of guidelines and values to make it the program as safe as possible.
Q. Do I have to go to church to go to Amped?
A. No. We have kids & adults that don’t attend MBC but come to AMPED.
Q. Do I have to know anything about christianity?
A. No. We do however have a 5min bible story that we talk about before we kick things off.
We also ask that you close your eyes during the prayer so people don’t get distracted.
Q. Can I visit & do I have to pay?
A. Yes, you can visit just check our calendar to make sure you know where we will be. We welcome anyone who wants to come along.
No, you don’t have to pay for your first time.
Q. Who do I contact if I want to visit?

Q. What do I have to bring?
A. Always dress warm in winter with the ability to take off layers, as things heat up pretty quick. Always wear comfortable shoes as our programme usually requires running.
Q. Can I stay with my child?
A. Yes you can. Hey, if you’re keen to join in with your kids then even better. We are a relaxed bunch that at the end of the day just want to have fun.
