Hi Amped families this Sunday we will be creating some space during the service for you to pray for your kids as they start a new year at school. The kids will receive a special Kinder, Wiser, Braver keyring bag tag that they can proudly place on their school bags. They'll also get a 3-day devotional and 6 awesome stationary items! Three of these items are for them to keep, and three are for them to give away. These gifts serve as reminders that they have a loving family, a supportive church Whānau, and a God who is FOR them. As they begin the school year, they can carry this love with them and share it with their classmates. We can't wait to see you all there.

During the message Upstreet and transit kids go out like normal, but will combine for a time where the kids get their devotionals and chose their stationary.

Kids can bring in their school bags to put the tags on and put stationary in them.

Due a Waitangi weekend and our term leaders meeting Amped will be starting back for the kids on Friday the 21st feb - we will posting soon to let you know some of the cool things planned for this term.

We will end year with a Christmas family service on Sunday the 20th of December. This service is all about celebrating Christmas and Gods Gift us - Jesus . We will be Christmas Carols and the Christmas Story followed by a Christmas morning tea.

You will pick your own packs up on the day - there will have your names logged in.Come early ( 8am ) for bike set and transition set up - you will avoids the worst of the traffic and then the kids get to a free yum as breakfast from the breakfast tent. They have heaps of food tents and Bp just across the road for us adults who need a money fix or recharge.

Kids bring

-Bikes and Helmets ( unless you are borrowing an amped bike - it will be at the park waiting for you )

• 2 pairs of shoes - one pair will left in transition

• A transition box to put your stuff in ( plastic is best )

• Togs ( wear them under your clothes so you don’t need to get changes )

• Packed lunch and 2 water bottles 1 for transition and one for the rest fo the day.

• Sun screen and a hat

Adults bring

A camping chair (there is a lot of down time )

You own food snacks and money for coffee !!!

We will have our marque set up like normal and will send pics to help you locate us on Tuesday night.

Week 1 Biking - Kids if you can bring your bike from home that will be great - we will have our maintenance team on hand to make sure your bike is fully functioning and an outdoor course at church including our some ramps for those needing a bit more adventure -If not we have plenty of spare ready to role.

It’s our superhero dance party !!! A chance for our kids to invite their mates to our awesome superhero dance party as a positive alternative to all the not so cool halloween stuff . There will be super hero challenges, heaps of follies a super cool disco and more. This year to help with it easy as possible for kids to invite their mates we have moved all out ticketing online - so you can purchase you tickets here

Extreme Edge on Saturday

Hi Families,

The kids have been praticing their boulderskills as part our firday night programe so we are off to Rock Climbing this Saturday from 3:45 - 6:00 pm at Extreme Edge in Pamure. This will be instead of meeting on Friday night.

The cost is 20 dollars per child. Supervising adults not climbing are free.

To end the term we are off to bounce in Takanini - it now has its own parkour and rock climbig course  as well as the tramp park making it the perfect cross for our to sports as we lead into  term 3.
